It's about time that the weather finally becomes better! Being stuck in the house for a week straight, not being able to go out and take pictures, and having nothing to do but play on my computer was a pain! Last night, even though it was very stormy, was a good night. I was the photographer for a Father/Daughter dance that happened at the school I work at, and it was a great turn out....A little too good. After only 70 people RSVP'd, more than 200 peoples showed up and the cafeteria was crowded beyond belief. I love my job at the school. Absolutely love it! However, I don't love the parents of my kids. They apparently have no idea when their kids are sick, so they send them to school anyway. That way, all the other kids become sick, and even their parents still send them, thus, getting me sick. Now I could understand this if it was only once every couple of months. But no. During the week of January 9th, I was sick with a head cold from the kids. Got better by the week of January 16th and thought I was good to do. Life really stinks sometimes. :( Losing a grandfather in death has taken a tole on my family. I wasn't close with him, but it kills me to see my dad out of sorts. Having my dad gone for a week isn't helping either. Trying to cheer myself up failed as well. I was really looking forward to shopping with my mom today. I was going to get some stuff for costumes for an up coming photo shoot that I'm doing with some friends. But Goodwill isn't very good any more. All the things I found were rip-offs.
